As modern Hangzhou continues to expand, it is quickly becoming known as a hub for innovation and industry in addition to its vibrant culture and recreational activities. The city’s economic boom since the 1990s has been nothing short of remarkable, with Hangzhou emerging as a key location for e-commerce in China and home to some of the country’s largest and most successful companies, such as Alibaba. 2022 Asian Games
The 2022 Asian Games, officially known as the 19th Asian Games, is being held (September 23 to October 8, 2023), in Hangzhou, China. As one of the largest multisport events in the world, the Asian Games will feature athletes from 45 Asian National Olympic Committees (NOCs) participating in more than 40 sports.
